To begin, we started a wet cleaning process. Wet cleaning involves using water and wet-side chemicals to remove organic stains and yellow/brown stains from oxidation. Dry restoration methods also involve environmentally-friendly chemical solvents and dry tools and techniques to further remove stains. In other words, water is not a factor. After cleaning, the hair of the hide is conditioned to enhance color and shine.
Now, the instrument and the leather hide is restored to its’ original, unadulterated beauty.
